This could be our first look at the iPad mini 5.

Although signs of another mini iPad have been slim, photos leaked online could be the rumoured iPad mini 5 following rumours that a new version of the mini tablet could be released at some point this year.

The leaked images, shared on Twitter, give us a slight glimpse to a few details of the new iPad, but barely allude to any real changes from the already overdue successor iPad mini 4 that was released back in 2015. Although, it is evident that the images leaked online do not look like any iPad mini that exists now, due to the slim antenna line on the back compared to the iPad mini 4’s rather large antenna block on the cellular model.

However, that is the only real difference anyone has been able to decipher from these images, but everyone should be reminded that we have not seen the front of the iPad yet, which could be where the biggest differences are.

But keep in mind that it is possible these photos could just be a prototype that Apple never released, or just complete fakes. Regardless, with the iPad in these images posessing a slight difference to the iPad mini 4, it is very likely that the iPad mini 5 might not be too far from reality, so keep your eyes peeled.
