Our IT Manager, Haseeb Dar, recently attended the Microsoft 'Discovery Day', providing him with a short day of training in the fundamentals of Microsoft Azure and Cloud Computing.
The training day covered the following:
- Cloud computing, Azure and Azure subscriptions
- Azure Web Apps
- Create and configure VMs in Microsoft Azure
- Create an Azure virtual network
- Azure storage
- Describe and deploy databases in Azure
- Azure tooling and utilities
- Azure security basics
- Storing data in Azure
After attending the training day, Haseeb has now completed the requirements to be recognised as a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
