The IT Engineer role:
Due to continued growth we are looking to appoint a new 3rd Line Field IT Engineer to work within our engineer teams.
Duties will include:
As a 3rd Line Field IT Engineer you will be required to attend customer sites (mainly based within the Northern M62 corridor) and deliver a first class support service. You will be responsible for supporting our customers' existing IT infrastructure, as well as recommend upgrades and security updates. You will also be required to support our 'Out of Hours' support team with fault resolution.
The ideal IT Engineer will need the following skills/requirements:
- Experience in installing and maintaining Server 2008, 2012 and 2016.
- Experience in installing and maintaining Windows 7 and 10.
- Experience in installing and maintaining Firewalls, Switches and VLANS.
- Experience with migrating Office 365 and onsite exchange.
- Working knowledge of anti-virus and maintaining data backups.
Driving Licence Essential!
